Just a quick one to say how pleased I was with all the gear, and I really appreciate the quick turnaround and personal tailoring!!! Sorry I didn’t reply earlier but I’ve been hectic. Everything fits perfectly and I’m really pleased with the new jacket, exactly what I was after, it fits perfectly! I’ve just come back from a week in Denmark, where it rained pretty much each day and the mud was about a foot deep on the walk to our pegs… but my gear loved it… It was nice to be dry all day even without an umbrella! The softshell trousers are great everyone should have a pair of those!

dear halkon hunt

just a quick note to say thank you for my return and repair of my bib & brace . i fully expected to have to pay for the service and was over the moon that it was free of charge . i work in veals of bristol and we have recently started stocking your daiwa clothing .

sale’s have been surprisingly good for such a high end item . it just goes to show that people will pay for quality and i think that your fantastic back up service certainly reassure’s customer’s that their money is well spent .

Sensas often work a long side with Halkon Hunt clothing especially on Gortex . I have just received some windstopper soft shell Sensas bottoms well worth a look at . Fantastic quality as always from the girls at Halkon Hunt . Warm to wear and very comfortable

I put both these to the test on Wednesday. The rain poured all day and to make it worse the wind was howling into me. Having fished in this kind of weather on a number of occasions in the past 50 years this may be the first time that at the end of the day I was still bone dry. I have had numerous jackets/bib n brace and this is the best. Only issue is it is a bit dirty now with carp and bream slime and mud. That will not bother me too much as I am confident that this will not let me down. A great design especially around the neck and head area.

Hi Sandra, Carol and the rest of you lovely ladies. received my new jacket about 5 minutes ago and its more than I actually hoped for, I had an idea of what it would look like but you have bettered that by miles. Its roomy enough for jacket and jumper underneath and covers my bum a treat.

To you all I can only say Thanks.

Will be looking at a pole jacket some time in the future and will make sure I send ‘all’ the info next time.

Dear Sandra,

You probably will not specifically remember but in July 2014 you supplied me with my carp fishing suit. I had ordered it direct from you once your one retail outlet (Yorkshire Angling) had stopped selling it, having replaced their order by a cheaper version with less pocketing.

At that time you were particularly helpful. For me it was very difficult to justify what was a great deal of money for a suit to be used just for myleisure pursuit. I can also say that in use, as it happens, it hasn’t particularly increased my catch rate !!!! However, having used my suit on a number of occasions over this winter, as I will be again tomorrow, I have to say that it is everything I wanted it to be. It is absolutely a quality product and I am very pleased with it.

The purpose of this note is no more than to repeat a simple thank you as it is rare enough these days to actually get what you’ve paid for, regardless of the price point, and you have produced a good, quality, and most satisfactory product. May you continue to prosper.

the technical fleece with insert of gore tex is much more beautiful than
the previous, next will be like that and probably i have to take 1 for
me 🙂 .
The soft shell is one of the most beautiful garment ever seen!

Hi there Sandra / Carol,

My clothing came this morning at 10am, every thing spot on. I appreciate the quick response, and the freebies.

I am sure I will have many opportunities to sing their praises whilst sitting / struggling on a wet, and windswept river bank.
I know I will get ribbed by some of my more rag-tag friends, but will have the last laugh watching them get cold, and wet in some of their waterproofs which may be made for the job, but possibly aren’t quite up to it.
After talking to a lot of match anglers in our area, it was clear that, in the long run, the only waterproofs worth having are the renowned H / H.

Bib n’Brace!!!!
Loaned garment is currently in a 30 degree machine wash with grangers
2-1.
Hopefully if dry by 4.30pm be able to post back in s/a packet you
kindly provided by reg.post tonight – or else 9 am tomorrow.

Hi Sandra, Ive just received my GORE-TEX Clothing this morning and im over the moon totally brilliant, fits perfect and the colours look great, I really struggled to find a proper suit that fit me an protected me from the elements and im glad I spent the money with Halkon Hunt and had you make me one to order, ill be ordering some GORE-TEX trousers and a hoody soon thanks again, im very happy with them!
